The beverage industry is dedicated to providing choices for our customers – and helping our customers make informed choices. We’re making it easier for people to choose a beverage that’s right for them with more choices, smaller portions, fewer calories and clear calorie labels.
Our industry has worked diligently to oppose discriminatory taxes that unfairly single out our industry, and can have tough repercussions on local small businesses and low-income families.
We provide 4,580 family-wage jobs across the state, and have a direct economic impact of $3.5 billion in Washington state. Beverage jobs create $410.90 million in wages and benefits in Washington. Our industry also contributes $253 million in state taxes and $468.20 in federal taxes.
Making a Difference In Our Communities
The beverage industry is committed to giving back to the community. Through innovative partnerships and programs, bottlers and their employees have contributed $29.60 million to charitable causes across the state.
